Main Street Macon is committed to the economic development and revitalization of the Central Business District of Downtown Macon, GA. We fulfill our mission of collaborating to bring life and business to Downtown by following the Main Street America Four Point Approach.

The Main Street Four Points include economic restructuring, design, promotion, and organization. Main Street Macon is a government entity housed in the Economic and Community Development Department of Macon-Bibb. This unique position allows Main Street Macon to guide business owners through government processes, facilitate community events in downtown Macon, steer beautification and infrastructure projects while promoting preservation, and build collaborative partnerships that connect the public and private sector.

We are proud to be the second Urban Main Street Community in the State of Georgia.
